Tuscan Village, the practical guide
Where to park, how to get there without a car, what’s on which street, and the dates to know this fall and winter.
Tuscan Village parking is free. The village says it has “dozens of free, fully lit parking lots” reachable from any entrance, so you can park once and walk. Set your GPS for 9 Via Toscana, Salem, NH 03079, and take I-93 Exit 1. This guide covers where to leave the car, how to get here without one, what’s on which street and what’s coming up on the calendar.
Tuscan Village parking: where to leave the car
The village’s parking page names several lots, among them a north lot whose directions lead to Market Basket at 69 Central St., a south lot and a westernmost lot near Klemm’s gas station. The village also says it sets aside parking areas for different uses, including residential, retail and dining.
- Park near your first stop. Lots are spread through the village, so pick the one closest to the store or restaurant you are visiting first and walk from there.
- Read the signs. Residential parking is for residents. Use the retail and dining areas.
- Leave extra time on event days. Give yourself a few more minutes to park during big events such as the Parmigiano Reggiano Festival and the November tree lighting.
- Staying at The Artisan? The hotel sells a Breakfast & Parking offer that includes self-parking.

Around them are the Sam Adams Pavilion beer garden with cornhole, giant Jenga, Connect Four and ring toss, plus a playground, outdoor chess and fire-pit lounges. For food, see our Tuscan Village restaurant guide. For how a racetrack became a village, read A village on the old track.
